A fixed price from the first step.

Every engagement starts with a fixed-price assessment, so you know what to automate first and what it is worth before you commit to a build.

AI and automation assessment

$2,000 CAD, fixed price

A fixed fee, agreed before we start.

  • A discovery conversation about how your firm works
  • Up to three short conversations with your team
  • A review of the tools you already use
  • A written, prioritized plan with expected hours saved
  • Delivered in about two weeks

The fee is credited toward a build agreed within 90 days. Work beyond this scope needs a written change request with its own price.

Ask about an assessment

Automation sprint

Scoped per project, fixed price.

One workflow built, tested and documented, then handed to your team. Typical examples: client intake and document chasing, email and files filed to the client record, reading documents with AI, drafting replies for review, quotes and invoicing, reporting.

Care plan

Monthly, scoped per project.

Monitoring, fixes and one small change each month, so your automations keep working as your tools and processes change.

How an engagement runs

  1. 1

    Discovery

A conversation about how your firm works, who does what, and where the time goes. I ask to see the tools you use and a normal week of work.

  2. 2

    Assessment

Over about two weeks I speak with up to three of your team, review your tools, and write the plan. You get it as a short document and a conversation.

  3. 3

    Build

If you go ahead, I scope one workflow at a fixed price, build it, test it with real examples, document it, and train your team to use and check it.

  4. 4

    Care

With optional monthly care, I keep it running, fix anything that breaks, and make one small improvement each month.

What I need from you

  • About an hour for the first conversation
  • Up to three short conversations with your team
  • Read access to the tools we look at (never more than needed)
  • One person who can make decisions and answer questions

What you get to keep

  • The written plan, whether or not you build anything
  • Everything built for you, with plain-language documentation
  • A log of what each automation does
  • Your data, kept in your own accounts and on your own server or instance

Other ways I can help

The automation work usually starts with getting the foundations right. If you need help with those, ask.

Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace

Setup, tidy-up, security basics and sensible sharing rules for small teams.

Team training

Plain-language sessions on using AI tools safely and well in your day-to-day work.

AI use policy

A short, clear policy so your staff know what they can and cannot put into AI tools.

Questions

Do I need to change my software?

No. The aim is to make the tools you already use work together. If something does not fit, I will say so and explain why.

What about client confidentiality?

I use the minimum access needed, keep client data inside your agreed systems, and follow applicable Canadian privacy law. A person reviews anything that affects money, legal rights or what a client is told.

Where does it run, and which AI tools do you use?

Everything runs on your own server and instance, with your own accounts, so your data does not pass through my systems. If you do not have a suitable server or instance yet, we will scope setting one up in your name as part of the project. When AI helps, I use the AI service your firm already has access to, or I recommend one that fits your data policy. The accounts and keys stay yours.

Can you work with firms outside Alberta?

Yes. The work is remote and I serve firms across Canada.

What if automation isn't the right answer?

The assessment will tell you. A good plan sometimes says "fix the process first" or "this is not worth automating".
